ANANYA: Spread the Word

ANANYA: Spread the Word

Today, technology is minimizing global distances and making the world a cosmic village. Distances, time and spaces do not matter anymore. Conversations, meetings and get togethers can happen with the use of technology. Hence, Ananya has also climbed on to the new bandwagons and is now available on Facebook and will soon be available in more platforms.

All updates, program schedules, events, seminars, workshop, artist profiles, special interviews, some great photographs are now available on these forums. Its also interesting to see that it has already garnered over 4000 members globally.

Not only do these initiatives indicate the volume of members for Ananya, it also shows at a higher level of the formation of global music communities. Today artists are no longer unapproachable. You do not have to wait for a specific concert to watch them. You can watch them on You Tube, you can catch the updates on Facebook, or discuss relevant topics on Linked in and personal websites…all this and more.

Such is the great capabilities of technology which we have to thank immensely for making this possible. In this context, we request each one of you serious musicians and music lovers to spread the word of Ananya on your respective social media forums. More and more musicians and art lovers need to join this forum and be part of the global initiative to develop, sustain and perpetuate good classical music.

As shared last time, I want to reinforce that the sooner we realize the importance and value of music in our society and times, the sooner will we action towards its preservation. Our music has been handed down to us over generations and its common knowledge that there are several art forms, which are dying and have no inheritors or pursuers. Whatever efforts in whichever forms towards its perpetuated is the need of the hour today.

And today there are good forums easily available, accessible and user friendly. And the content can reach all corners of the world which was originally unthinkable, especially at the click of a button.

We request all of you to join the social media platforms and form a huge global chain of good classical music. God bless!
